My name is Ashton. I come from a small, dreamy little town in North Carolina. If I close my eyes, I can almost feel the sand under my toes and taste the salty air. I moved to Utah when I was 21 and have been here ever since. At the core, I am an artist, rooted in colorful and impressionistic influences. I am inspired by almost everything and everyone that surrounds me. Raised by an interior designer, an eye for design and good taste have been deeply engrained in my soul. I have always been highly self-motivated and am continuously expanding my many outlets of creativity. I have dipped my toes in a wide range of mediums including textile design, pottery, oil/acrlyic/mixed media painting, fashion design, graphic design, photography and videography. Having studied Textile Design at North Carolina State University, my heart lies there with surface pattern design.
